Once upon a time, a crow lived in a forest. He was living happy content life because he didn’t have many desires.
But one day he saw swan in forest and on seeing it beauty, he thought, “I have never seen such a creature before. So white and clean, so beautiful.”
Crow went to swan and said, “Brother, you are so beautiful, you must be very happy.”
To this swan replied, “Yes, i used to be very happy before, until i saw the parrot. After seeing him i feel that parrot is the most beautiful creature on earth. I have only one color, but parrot have two colors. Beautiful red band on neck and it was bright green color.”
Crow thought if swan is calling parrot most beautiful, then he has to see it.
Crow went to parrot and said, “Brother, you must be very happy to have two colors?”
At this parrot said, “Yes, i was happy until i saw the peacock. I have only two colors, but peacock has many colors.”
Now, crow thought that he would definitely have to meet peacock.
Crow searched for peacock in forest but couldn’t find a single one. He kept on searching and reached a zoo. There he saw that many people had come to see peacock.
When crowd left, crow went to peacock and said, “Brother you are most beautiful creature in world, you are so colorful. People were here just to see you. You must be enjoying it a lot and happiest creature in world.”
Listening to this, peacock became sad and sad, “Because of this beauty, i have been held captive in this zoo. Nobody keeps you captive in a zoo, you can roam around wherever you want.
That’s why you must be most happy creature in the world because you are free.”
Crow understood what he had was more important.

We also do same. We compare our Happiness and Qualities with others, with people whose living environment is completely different from ours.
There are many things in our life which only we have, but we are not happy by understanding their importance. Many times, even small happiness of others seems big to us while we ignore our own big Happiness.
