Once there was a horse, who was beautiful and had many good qualities. Still that Horse had desire to be more beautiful and perfect in every way.
He was Horse of one of Cosmic Gods. He went to God and requested, “Lord, you have given me beauty and other good qualities. I am grateful to you.
But i wish if you could make me more beautiful. I would be extremely grateful to you.”
God replied, “I am ready to make you more beautiful but you tell me in what way you want to be changed?”
Horse got happy and replied, “To me it seems that i am not well proportioned. My neck is too short and if you can make my neck a little longer, my upper body will be infinitely more beautiful.
And if you can make my legs much longer and thinner then my lower body too will be beautiful.”
God said, “Bless you.”
Horse went to his check mirror but he was shocked to see that he was converted into camel.
Horse was so disheartened that it started to cry and said to God, “I wanted to become more beautiful, in what way is this kind of outer form more beautiful?”
God said, “This is exactly what you asked for. That’s why you become camel.”
Horse cried, “No.. No.. i didn’t want to become a camel. I wish to remain as horse. As a horse everybody appreciated my good qualities. Nobody will appreciate me as a camel.”
God replied, “Now you understand. If you ask for longer neck and legs, then this i what will happen. Never try to achieve or receive more than i have given you.
If you want to lead a desire life then at every moment you will want more and more but you have no idea what outcome will be.
Each thing in my creation has it’s own qualities. Camel is not beautiful as you are but it cries heavy load and has tremendous sense of responsibilities.”
Moral:
Be Happy with What you are. Everyone of God’s creation have it’s Own Qualities and Reason to be here.
