One day, a professor asked his students, “Whatever exists in this world, God has created it.. Right?”
Everyone said, “Yes.”
Professor said, “This means that even evil is created by God.”
When professor said this, a student stood up and said, “Sir, don’t reach this conclusion so quickly.”
Professor said, “Why? Everyone agreed that everything is created by God then why are you saying this?”
Student said, “Sir, i want to ask two questions.”
Professor said, “Ask.”
Student asked, “Sir, does cold exist in this world?”
Professor said, “Absolutely. It does that’s why we feel cold.”
Student said, “No sir. Cold doesn’t exist. It is actually just feeling of absence of heat. When there is no heat, we feel cold.”
Professor remained silent.
Student said, “Sir, my second question is, does darkness exist?”
Professor said, “Of course. It is dark at night.”
Student said, “No sir, darkness doesn’t exist at all. It is only when there is no light, there is darkness.”
Student continued, “Sir, you teach us only light and heat. You never teach us about darkness and cold. There is no such subject in physics.
In same way, God had created only good things. When there is no good, we see evil. God didn’t create evil. It is just absence of goodness.”
Learning:
Whenever and Wherever you get a chance in life, share goodness. If goodness increases, there will be no evil.
